KAWAI K3 WINS DEALERS CHOICE AWARD
Second Year in a Row
Rancho Dominguez, CA, December 21, 2009 – It’s two in a row for the popular Kawai K-3 Professional Upright Piano. In balloting conducted by Musical Merchandise Review (MMR) magazine, readers from across North America have once again selected the K-3 as the 2009 Acoustic Piano of the Year. The K-3 is part of the K Series Professional Uprights line from Kawai. The K-3 is known and loved for its exceptional musicality and value.

MMR’s Dealers Choice Awards are announced annually at year’s end and presented to the winners at the following NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA. Because dealers from across North America are responsible for the decision, these are some of the most highly coveted awards in the music products industry.

This past decade has truly been the “Decade of Kawai” for the Dealers Choice awards. Kawai has won a piano-related award in 9 of the past 10 years. Winning products have been the K-3 and the RX Series Grand Pianos (3 times) in the Acoustic Piano category, along with the CA91, CN270, ES1 and CP200 in the Digital Piano category.
