Starting in 2010 , Kawai is proud to be a major sponsor of Australia's principal ballet company, The Australian Ballet.

Kawai will be recognized in program and promotion materials throughout The Australian Ballet's 2010 Edge of Night production with seasons in Melbourne and Sydney. Kawai is also a major sponsor of the company's choreographic development program, Bodytorque a la mode at Sydney Theatre, Walsh Bay.

Kawai will supply and maintain acoustic pianos and grand pianos to the company. Kawai is delighted to have been selected to supply a range of pianos for use by the company. For more than 40 years, The Australian Ballet has presented both the great ballet classics as well as a superb modern repertoire with more than 200 performances annually in Australia and overseas.
