GP-500BP

The Celviano Grand Hybrid is part of a unique collaboration between C. Bechstein and Casio, combining traditional piano craftsmanship with the application of Casio’s wealth of expertise in digital technology.

The GP-500BP is the result of painstaking research by Casio into traditional piano craftsmanship and the application of all its expertise in digital technology to produce authentic ‘sound’ and ‘touch’.

The AiR Grand Sound Source technology reproduces the distinctive appeal of three prestigious grand pianos that have been highly regarded for many years. The Berlin Grand sound was developed in collaboration with C. Bechstein and is based on the masterpiece that is the D282. It offers balanced, elegant sound with a clearly defined shape. The Hamburg Grand delivers brilliantly rich, resnant sound full of dynamism and power. The Vienna Grand offers an impressive low range which is particularly suited to exquisite, softly played pieces.

The revolutionary new Natural Grand Hammer Action keyboard is made with full-length wooden keys and delivers authenticity from the first touch. Its mechanism incorporates hammers that follow the same path of motion as in a concert grand piano. This innovative action also allows faster note repetition than on acoustic pianos, while maintaining a true piano key touch.

Precision-made wooden keys are manufactured from the same high-grade Austrian spruce used for C. Bechstein grand piano keys: they offer distinguished touch and responsiveness.

Further enhancements made possible by Celviano Grand Hybrid technology include Concert Play, Hall Simulator and Scene Setting, enabling you to accompany a symphony orchestra, within a legendary venue, and in the style of famous composers.
